Elvis’ Fashion Rules

As you know from any directv documentary or concert you’ve seen, The King didn’t play by the rules. Elvis had his own unique style but it’s what set him apart and we think that’s cool – here are a few of Elvis’ iron clad fashion rules we still think hold true:
Tighter is Better: He was one of the first men to wear skin tight suits and his big white jumpsuit is a perfect example. Even when the King didn’t have the best figure of his life he still rocked what fit him the snuggest.
Always Dress: You’d never catch Elvis out and about in a tshirt and jeans – he always had dress slacks, a button down and typically a coat. Being dressed for any occasion never goes out of style and this is one thing Elvis definitely got right.
Play With Accessories: Blue suede shoes? Yup. Elvis loved to add some color and interest using shoes, ties and even his own hair – you should too! Spruce up any old outfit with something unexpected that you can change up the next time you wear it.
